The Physician Liaison works closely with our clinical team and is a brand ambassador to the community who will call upon local physicians to build relationships and prospect referral leads to grow the patient referral base. This position is a combination of sales and public relations, strategically promoting the clinics’ services and treatments while strengthening our reputation in the community. The FYZICAL Liaison is responsible for overseeing a designated territory of physicians and medical clinics.

The Physician Liaison is critical for the success of a clinic. The Liaison aims to increase patient referrals, strengthen relationships with providers and their staff, and serve as a community-facing representative providing prospective patients and the community with a first impression of our brand. The Liaison cultivates positive relationships among community practices, medical staff, and providers, manages feedback, and enhances our reputation. Essentially, the Liaison acts as a bridge between our clinic, referring offices, and the broader community.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead initiatives to build volume and favorable perceptions among internal and external referral sources.
  2. Develop and implement outreach, relationship-building, and marketing plans to meet goals.
  3. Exhibit excellent time management, organization, and communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Analyze referral data, check DMR daily, and facilitate marketing campaigns.
  5. Utilize templates and programs for tracking and managing leads.
  6. Build strong business relationships with local community organizations and businesses.
  7. Collaborate with other system functions interacting with physician offices, including hospital medical affairs, referral systems, provider recruitment, and resources.
  8. Maintain ongoing communication with referring providers and staff through visits, emails, and calls.
  9. Implement research-based strategies to build awareness and trust.
  10. Identify referral sources and target audiences.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Healthcare preferred.
  • Experience in a communications role within sales or marketing may substitute for education or experience requirements.
  • Valid Driver’s License required; willing to travel within assigned territory.
  • Own vehicle required; mileage reimbursement provided.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer programs.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
