FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is seeking a full-time Physician Liaison to join our team at our Bolingbrook, IL, location!
The Physician Liaison works closely with our clinical team and is a brand ambassador to the community who will call upon local physicians to build relationships and prospect referral leads to grow the patient referral base. This position combines sales and public relations by strategically promoting the clinics’ services and treatments while strengthening our reputation in the community. The FYZICAL Liaison is responsible for overseeing a designated territory of physicians and medical clinics.
The Physician Liaison is critical for the success of a clinic. The Liaison not only aims to increase patient referrals and strengthen relationships with providers and their staff but also acts as a community-facing representative, providing prospective patients and the community with a first impression of our brand. The Physician Liaison works to cultivate positive, open, and helpful relationships among community practices, medical staff, and providers, while managing feedback and enhancing our reputation. The Liaison essentially acts as the bridge between our clinic, referring offices, and the broader community.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to build volume and foster favorable provider perceptions among internal and external referral streams.
- Develop and implement outreach, relationship building, and marketing plans to meet goals.
- Exhibit excellent time management, organization, and communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Analyze referral data, monitor DMR daily, and facilitate marketing campaigns.
- Utilize templates and programs for tracking and managing leads.
- Develop strong business relationships with local community organizations and businesses.
- Collaborate with other system functions that interact with physician offices, including hospital medical affairs, outbound referral systems, provider recruitment, and provider resources.
- Establish and maintain ongoing communication with referring providers and their staff through visits, emails, and phone calls.
- Implement research-based methods and strategies to build awareness and trust.
- Identify referral sources (target audiences).
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications, Business Administration, or Healthcare preferred.
- Recent experience in a communications role within a sales or marketing environment may substitute for formal education and/or experience.
- Valid Driver’s License required, as daily driving within the territory is necessary.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Own vehicle required; mileage reimbursement provided.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in computer programs.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
