Job summary

Sutter West Bay Medical Group in San Francisco seeks a full-time physician leader in Complex Family Planning to develop and lead a system-aligned reproductive health program across California Pacific Medical Center. The role expands access to advanced contraception, high-risk family planning, and abortion care while integrating education, quality improvement, and service line alignment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO board certification/eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Experience in complex contraception and high-risk family planning consultative care.
• Training and/or experience in abortion care (medical and surgical) and commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered reproductive healthcare.
• Experience leading program development, quality improvement, and/or clinical operations across sites (preferred).
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills.
• Eligible for California medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced contraceptive care and high-risk family planning consultations.
• Standardize contraception practices and policies across sites; contribute to service-line alignment.
• Deliver preconception and interpregnancy counseling and patient-centered pregnancy options counseling.
• Develop and standardize system-wide CFP program policies and workflows; implement quality initiatives.
• Lead education and workforce development; partner with leadership and external partners.
