Job summary

OnPoint Medical Group seeks an experienced physician to expand leadership responsibilities while maintaining high-quality patient care at Highlands Ranch. The Physician Lead will work with the Senior Physician Lead, supporting clinical operations, provider engagement, and strategic priorities.

This role requires clinic duties of 32 patient-facing hours in a 4-day week, participation in leadership meetings, and representation in Medical Advisory Committee activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Physician in good standing and eligible to practice.
• Minimum of 3 years of physician practice experience.
• Proven ability to collaborate with physicians, APPs, clinical teams, and operational leadership.
• Excellent communication, judgment, professionalism, and problem-solving.
• Interest in developing or expanding physician leadership.
• Willingness to participate in leadership meetings, committees, strategy sessions, and other activities.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Senior Physician Lead on clinical, operational, and strategic priorities.
• Serve as a physician leadership resource for providers and team members.
• Support provider engagement, communication, collaboration, and a positive practice culture.
• Assist with clinical quality, patient experience, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Help identify workflow and operational opportunities affecting providers.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and retention efforts.
• Support implementation of OnPoint Medical Group initiatives and priorities.
• Provide leadership coverage when the Senior Physician Lead is unavailable.
• Maintain an active clinical practice and model OnPoint Medical Group's standards for quality and teamwork.
• Represent OnPoint Pediatrics at Highlands Ranch in leadership discussions and organizational initiatives.

is seeking an experienced physician interested in expanding their leadership responsibilities while continuing to provide high-quality patient care. This position is 32 patient facing hours during a 4-day work week.The Physician Lead will serve as a key clinical leader for the practice, working closely with a the Senior Physician Lead. This position will serve as the secondary physician leadership role within OnPoint Pediatrics at Highlands Ranch and will help support clinical operations, provider engagement, quality initiatives, strategic priorities, and the continued growth and success of the practice.The Physician Lead will also represent and support OnPoint Pediatrics at Highlands Ranch in leadership activities outside of regular clinic responsibilities, including participation in the Medical Advisory Committee, strategy meetings, leadership meetings, and other organizational events or initiatives as needed.This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys clinical practice while also seeking a greater voice in practice leadership, team development, strategy, and operational decision-making.

• Be available for leadership responsibilities and activities outside of direct clinic responsibilities, including Medical Advisory Committee meetings, strategy meetings, organizational leadership meetings, and other events or initiatives as needed.
• Represent OnPoint Pediatrics at Highlands Ranch and the provider perspective in broader organizational discussions and initiatives when appropriate.

QualificationsRequired:

• Physician in good standing and eligible to practice within the organization.
• Minimum of
• 3 years of experience practicing as a physician , preferable with OnPoint Medical Group.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical teams, and operational leadership.
• Strong communication, judgment, professionalism, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in developing or expanding physician leadership responsibilities.
• Ability and willingness to participate in leadership meetings, committees, strategy sessions, and other activities outside of direct clinical responsibilities as required by the role.

Compensation & Leadership Incentive

The Physician Lead role is designed as an expanded leadership opportunity while maintaining a base compensation structure generally similar to the physician role .In recognition of the additional leadership responsibilities, the Physician Lead will also be eligible to participate in the Quarterly Profits Interest Bonus program , subject to the applicable terms, eligibility requirements, and performance criteria of the program.Salary: $150,000 - $250,000 per year with bonusThe estimate displayed represents the typical salary range of candidates hired.
