Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN is seeking two Interventional Radiologists to join an established practice at St. Mary’s Medical Center. This role involves performing IR procedures and diagnostic vascular imaging in a state-of-the-art facility with dedicated angio suites, CT fluoro, and a Trauma Center.

You will join a collegial team supported by two PAs, IR nurses, VIR technologists, and staff. Fellowship in Interventional Radiology and BC/BE in Radiology are required, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Radiology required.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology required.
• Strong training in IR procedures and diagnostic vascular imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures.
• Provide diagnostic readings for vascular CT angiography/readings.
• Share call duties (1:4) with colleagues; work in a high-volume IR setting.

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• We are looking for two (our 3rd and 4th), highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiologists who are passionate about patient care and committed to excellence, to join an established, collegial practice
• In addition to IR procedures, will also perform diagnostic readings for vascular CTS
• 2 dedicated Angio suites, one containing CT Fluoro, both installed in 2023
• Access to two biplane Angio suites located within the same procedural area
• Level I Trauma Center
• ADC: Expect 6-10 daily procedures per provider
• Support staff: Two full-time Physician Assistants, Dedicated IR nursing, VIR Certified Technologists and administrativesupport
• IR procedures:All IR capabilities including Interventional Oncology (embolization, Y90, ablation), US and CT biopsies and drains, UFE, PAE, venous access, and Dialysis Access Maintenance. Vertebral augmentation.

COMPENSATION

• $615,536 Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
