Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN seeks two highly skilled Interventional Radiologists to join our established practice. You will perform IR procedures, diagnostic readings for vascular CTs, and work with a dedicated team in a Level I trauma center.

Two Angio suites (one with CT Fluoro) and two biplane suites are available, with a 1:4 call rotation and day/night shifts in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Radiology is required.
• Fellowship in Interventional Radiology is required.
• Strong patient-care and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including embolization, Y-90, ablation.
• Conduct diagnostic readings for vascular CT angiography and US/CT biopsies.
• Collaborate with IR team and support staff in a high-volume center.

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• We are looking for two (our 3rd and 4th), highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiologists who are passionate about patient care and committed to excellence, to join an established, collegial practice
• In addition to IR procedures, will also perform diagnostic readings for vascular CTS
• 2 dedicated Angio suites, one containing CT Fluoro, both installed in 2023
• Access to two biplane Angio suites located within the same procedural area
• Level I Trauma Center
• ADC: Expect 6-10 daily procedures per provider
• Support staff: Two full-time Physician Assistants, Dedicated IR nursing, VIR Certified Technologists and administrative support
• IR procedures: All IR capabilities including Interventional Oncology (embolization, Y90, ablation), US and CT biopsies and drains, UFE, PAE, venous access, and Dialysis Access Maintenance. Vertebral augmentation.

COMPENSATION

• $615,536 Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
