A leading organization seeks an interventional radiologist to provide patient care and educational services. This role requires a Doctor of Medicine degree, an unrestricted U.S. medical license, and offers significant benefits including student loan repayment, paid time off, and a sign-on bonus. This position offers eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan repayment initiative. Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria as per VHA policy and submit their EDRP application within four months of appointment. The program approval, including award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years), is determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services after review of the application. Former EDRP participants are ineligible to apply.
Qualifications
To qualify, applicants must meet the basic requirements and any additional criteria listed in the job announcement. Pending completion of training or licensing requirements, candidates may be tentatively referred or selected but cannot be hired until all requirements are fulfilled. Current VA-employed physicians who met initial appointment requirements under previous standards are considered to have met the basic requirements.
