Our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute is seeking to hire a full-time Fellowship-trained Academic Interventional Radiologist. Duties will include coverage at both our Duarte and Irvine, CA campuses.
You will work with a team of 7 other IR attending physicians, 3 advanced practice providers, and a group of highly motivated nurses and technologists. An ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a broad range of IR procedures and have a special interest in Interventional Oncology. Dedicated research time and resources are available for candidates with interest and experience.
The Division of Interventional Radiology currently operates two hospital-based Angio suites at Helford Hospital, a separate outpatient fluoroscopy suite, and an interventional CT scanner on the Duarte campus. Two new state-of-the-art Angio suites are under construction and slated to open in Fall 2025 as part of a new 16,000 sq ft IR expansion. The division also runs a dedicated IR clinic and inpatient consult service supported by IR APPs and staff. Additionally, the division staffs the City of Hope Irvine campus, which features a hybrid CT/Angio suite and an interventional CT procedure room. The upcoming Orange County hospital, opening in 2025, will include additional IR procedure rooms. Call responsibilities are shared equally among faculty.
