Job summary

Sarasota-Pain-Relief-Center is seeking a compassionate Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our outpatient practice in Sarasota, FL. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic pain, performing interventional procedures and developing personalized treatment plans.

Join a collaborative team with strong referral networks, a focus on evidence-based care, and a commitment to work-life balance. Full-time, Monday–Friday with shared after-hours call.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school (or foreign equivalent).
  • Completion of an accredited Pain Medicine fellowship.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine through Anesthesiology or PM&R.
  • Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure.
  • Experience performing interventional pain procedures; neuromodulation and implant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Perform interventional pain procedures including medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and peripheral nerve blocks.
  • Evaluate and manage candidates for advanced pain therapies (SCS, PNS, intrathecal pumps).
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, therapists, and care coordinators to optimize outcomes.
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, options, expectations, and long-term pain management.
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
  • Stay current with interventional pain medicine and CME.

Description

Join a Growing, Patient-Focused Interventional Pain Practice

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our established outpatient practice in the Sarasota area. This is an excellent opportunity to practice evidence-based interventional pain medicine in a collaborative environment with experienced providers, dedicated clinical support, and a strong referral network.

Schedule

Full-time


Monday through Friday


Shared after-hours telephone call approximately once every 4-6 weeks


What You'll Do

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.


Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.


Perform a wide range of interventional pain procedures, including:



  • Medial branch blocks

  • Radiofrequency ablation

  • Peripheral nerve blocks


Evaluate and manage candidates for advanced pain therapies, including:



  • Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS)

  • Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS)

  • Intrathecal Drug Delivery Systems (Pain Pumps)


Collaborate closely with primary care providers, specialists, therapists, and care coordinators to optimize patient outcomes.


Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, expectations, and long-term pain management strategies.


Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation within the electronic medical record.


Stay current with advancements in interventional pain medicine and participate in continuing medical education.


Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school (or foreign equivalent).


Completion of an accredited Pain Medicine fellowship.


Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine through:



  • Anesthesiology

  • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)


Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure.


Experience performing interventional pain procedures; neuromodulation and implant experience preferred.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
