Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

INTERVENTIONAL PAIN MEDICINE

PRACTICE LOCATION: BRAINERD, MN

Practice Specifics

1. Active outpatient interventional pain management practice including consultation and interventional procedure clinics.
2. Physicians evaluate and develop comprehensive treatment plans for new and existing patients, aiming to decrease pain and improve function.
3. Collaboration with a full spectrum of neuromusculoskeletal specialists, including neurology, orthopedics, internal medicine, and subspecialties.
4. Outpatient therapy provided by specialized therapists in neuro, pediatric, and musculoskeletal pain.
5. Opportunity to perform EMGs if desired.
6. Potential ownership opportunity in an ambulatory surgery center.
7. Team will consist of two physicians upon full hiring.

Requirements

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology with fellowship training in Pain Medicine, or in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) with fellowship in Pain Medicine.
• Competency in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar epidural/facet injections, advanced interventional pain techniques, spine RFA, and radiographic imaging. SCS, ultrasound, and EMG skills are advantageous but not mandatory.

Location

• Live and work in the scenic Brainerd Lakes area.
• Approximately 125 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
• Regional service area population: approximately 115,000.
• Area offers numerous outdoor activities including fishing, boating, camping, canoeing, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, hunting, snowmobiling, ATV riding, and hosts the Brainerd International Raceway.
