Additional Job Description:

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute seek Interventional Cardiologists (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidates will practice in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Depending on operational needs, candidates may also be assigned to additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, with travel expected to fulfill duties at these sites.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in general and interventional cardiology, providing excellent patient care and actively participating in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications: Candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, be eligible for a state license, have completed an interventional cardiology fellowship, and be board certified or eligible in Interventional Cardiology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
