Overview

Benefis Health System Heart & Vascular Institute in Great Falls, Montana is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join a multidisciplinary practice that includes interventional, non‑invasive cardiologists, cardiac thoracic/vascular surgeons, and electrophysiology professionals. The role involves providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care within a regionally recognized tertiary center.

Practice Details

The practice features two fully functioning catheterization laboratories (with space for a third) plus a hybrid cardiac catheterization lab, full echocardiography, and nuclear labs. A dedicated progressive cardiovascular unit (PCVU) supports inpatient acute care with cardiac‑nurse and physician staffing. An outpatient office suite offers 20 exam rooms and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation areas. Services include cardiac catheterization, invasive and structural heart procedures, electrophysiology, cardiac rhythm management, non‑invasive testing, stress testing, electrocardiograms, and cardiac rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional cardiology procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Teach internal medicine residents and medical students and conduct outreach in small communities.
• Participate in monthly meetings with physician and administrative leadership to drive quality improvement.

• Ability and interest in relocation to the Great Falls community.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
