Description:Locum position available for a physician specializing in Interventional Cardiology.Coverage needed from as soon as possible until August 2027.Schedule includes varied shifts with call coverage.Call will be minimal, with an average of 60% of time on call resulting in callbacks.Average callback duration is approximately 2 hours per on-call shift.The practice setting includes both inpatient and outpatient care.Approximately 80% of the workload will be inpatient.The average number of patients seen per half-day clinic shift is 14.Duties encompass hospital rounding and catheterization lab coverage.Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record documentation is required.Credentialing is estimated to take 2-3 months for candidates with a clean background.Approved travel reimbursements for airfare, lodging, and rental cars are available.Ideal candidates should have strong skills in hospital rounding and catheterization procedures.This role does not require a leadership position or teaching responsibilities.The patient population will consist of adults only.
