Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cover cardiology inpatient service with an inpatient APC during weekdays.
• Provide hospital service coverage including rounding and consults, plus urgent inpatient caths, temporary pacemakers, STEMIs, and stat echos.
• 5-day long weekend coverage required (Thursday morning to Tuesday morning preferred, with Wednesday or Friday morning start as alternatives).
• Provider must be available to work until at least 7:00 AM Monday morning, with no early departures Sunday evening.
• Pager for full duration of assignment; 9-hour days plus night call Monday–Friday; 24-hour call on Saturday and Sunday.

Job Details:

Cover cardiology inpatient service with an inpatient APC during weekdays

Provide hospital service coverage including rounding and consults, plus urgent inpatient caths, temporary pacemakers, STEMIs, and stat echos

5-day long weekend coverage required (Thursday morning to Tuesday morning preferred, with Wednesday or Friday morning start as alternatives) every 1 in 3 weekends beginning January

Provider must be available to work until at least 7:00 AM Monday morning - no early departures Sunday evening

Provider will hold the pager for the full duration of the assignment, scheduled as a 9-hour regular day plus night call Monday through Friday, and 24-hour call on Saturday and Sunday

Average patient encounters per shift: 12-15 TEE and Nuclear experience are required Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible) Fellowship training required
