Job summary

Delta Locum Tenens seeks an Interventional Cardiologist to cover inpatient cardiology services at a hospital in Brainerd, MN. The role includes rounding, consults, and urgent procedures with availability for a 7am-7am schedule and eligibility for 5-day long weekends on a 1 in 3 weekend rotation starting January 2027.

Must be board-certified in interventional cardiology and licensed in MN or IMLC; Epic is the EMR system used for patient records.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in interventional cardiology.
• Experience with inpatient cardiology service is preferred.
• Familiarity with ED/ICU workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cover inpatient cardiology service with an inpatient APC.
• Rounding and consults on the hospital service; respond to urgent inpatient caths and STEMIs.
• Perform temporary pacemakers and STAT echocardiograms as needed.
