We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for the Western Suburbs of Chicago, Addison, IL. Position Highlights

• Full time, primarily outpatient (36 patient care hours & 4 admin hours)

• Market‑competitive compensation range: $220,000‑$366,000 (dependent on FTE, experience, certifications, etc.)

What Will You Do

• Provide medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients
• Educate patients on wellness, prevention, early detection, and provide materials and resources to patients and families
• Share patient care duties with other physicians to ensure continuous availability
• Determine which referrals are required based on examination and patient needs
• Determine level of urgency for follow‑up, referral, or consultation appointments
• Exercise final medical judgment in all health‑care issues
• Prescribe medical treatments and clinical drugs
• Order studies, tests, and ancillary services
• Document all services in the patient medical record
• Review long‑term cases requiring ongoing medical attention regularly
• Consult with the Medical Director and other staff regarding patient care, assessment, and education issues
• Participate in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient‑care programs established by the hospital or clinic
• Oversee mid‑level medical staff as assigned, as well as nursing clinical staff
• Assist in resolving complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations
• Participate in teaching sessions for other hospital and medical staff, residents, and/or medical students as assigned
