Job summary

Barton Associates seeks an Internal Medicine Physician for a 96-day Florida assignment starting Sep 22, 2026. You will manage patient care, oversee medications, and review labs and charts during shifts from 9am to 2pm.

Responsibilities include chart reviews, medication management, lab interpretation, imaging orders, and care for a diverse patient population including military personnel and students. Travel-related expenses are covered.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Experience with EMR Practice Fusion and eForce systems.
• Ability to manage chronic and complex cases across a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities and Duties

• See patients and conduct comprehensive chart reviews.
• Monitor patient progress on current medications.
• Manage patient medication regimens utilizing Practice Fusion and e force systems.
• Collaborate with staff on pill counts to assess medication levels and pain management needs.
• Review laboratory results and patient charts to inform treatment plans.
• Order diagnostic imaging such as X-rays and MRI's as clinically indicated.
• Perform wellness checks for patients.
• Provide specialized pain medication management.
• Care for a diverse patient population including military personnel, veterans, business owners, and college students.
• Manage patients with chronic and complex cases, including amputations.

Additional Information
