Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician for a 100% outpatient practice in Grand Rapids, MI. You will join a collaborative team with integrated behavioral health, pharmacists, and care managers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include comprehensive adult care, panel management, and participation in quality initiatives while maintaining thorough documentation and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• BE/BC in Internal Medicine preferred.
• MI MD license required upon hire; DO license acceptable.
• DEA registration required; BLS/ACLS where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for adult patients in 100% outpatient Internal Medicine.
• Manage patient panels with team-based care and coordination with APPs and other providers.
• Deliver cost-effective, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Ensure continuity of care and accurate documentation per regulatory standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement and organizational goals.

A well-established and busy outpatient Internal Medicine practice located at 426 Michigan in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join a highly collaborative and patient-focused team.

This vibrant practice cares for adult patients across the continuum and offers a strong, team-based care model. The current group is supported by integrated resources such as Behavioral Health, Pharmacists, and Care Managers—allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality, comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients
• Assess and monitor the medical needs of patients and their families
• Deliver care in a cost-effective, evidence-based, and patient-centered manner
• Ensure appropriate coverage and continuity of care for patient panels
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and improve outcomes
• Provide supervision and oversight of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Participate in patient and family education to support wellness and chronic disease management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical process enhancements
• Support organizational goals related to patient satisfaction and financial stewardship

• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
