Job summary

didgwalic Wellness Center seeks a Physician to join an integrated care clinic offering primary care, behavioral health, and opiate treatment in one location. The role focuses on MAT services and comprehensive medical care for patients with substance use disorders in Washington state.

The position emphasizes a holistic care approach, collaborative teamwork, and ongoing professional development in a supportive environment that promotes employee wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed medical provider in good standing with the state of Washington.
• Board certified in Family & Internal Medicine; Addiction Medicine certification preferred.
• Experience with MAT (methadone, buprenorphine) for SUDs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care administration under Medical Director.
• Provide MAT services and primary medical care for enrolled patients.
• Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and medical management for substance use disorders.
• Monitor daily MAT doses (Methadone, Buprenorphine) and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with nurses, ARNPs, PAs, and other health professionals on the team.
• Educate patients on medications and potential side effects.
• Maintain patient charts and ensure timely documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and staff meetings.
