Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT is seeking a part-time Hyperbaric and Wound Physician to join a dedicated team. The role is PRN with outpatient wound care, supervising hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and collaboration with the inpatient wound care team.

Candidates must hold MD or DO, residency in Family/Internal Medicine preferred, board certification or eligibility, UHMS 40-hour course or willingness to complete, PATH within one year, Utah medical license, and credentialing;

• Residency in Family or Internal Medicine preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.
• UHMS-approved 40-hour Intro Course in Hyperbaric Medicine or eligible to complete within onboarding.
• Commit to PATH within one year of hire and progress toward completion.
• Active Utah medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health credentialing.
• Visa sponsorship not available.

About this role

As a Hyperbaric and Wound Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• Provide outpatient wound care, serve as the supervising physician for hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and collaborate with the inpatient wound care team as needed


• Work as needed

What you’ll bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine


• Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine preferred


• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline


• Completion of a UHMS-approved 40-hour Introductory Course in Hyperbaric Medicine, or eligibility and willingness to complete the course within the designated onboarding period


• Commitment to enroll in the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) Program for Advanced Training in Hyperbaric Medicine (PATH) within one year of hire and actively progress toward program completion


• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one


• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
