Job Overview

We are seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join our team of sixteen at Rutland Regional Medical Center, Vermont's second-largest hospital with 133 beds. Our experienced staff has served the community since 2000, working closely with specialists, clinical support staff, and community partners to deliver expert care.

Our hospital features a closed ICU staffed with full-time intensivists, with no ICU responsibilities for hospitalists. We support our ED staff with two dedicated Hospitalist admitters in the afternoon to improve patient care and flow. Our admitters and rounders work 14 shifts in 28 days, plus 2 weeks vacation. Admitter shifts are from 11am-9pm, and rounders work from 7am-5pm.

Rutland Regional Medical Center is located at the base of Killington Ski Resort, the largest ski area in the East. We offer a solid salary and benefits, with options for 168 or 182 shifts annually. Candidates must be board certified or eligible, with certification within five years of completing training.
