Physician / Hospitalist - Pediatric / Tennessee / Locum tenens / Pediatric Hospitalist - Tennessee Job

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Tennessee. This 20-day assignment spans from May 29 to June 8 and June 28 to July 6, 2025, with 24-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 am. The ideal candidate will be comfortable covering a level 2 nursery and providing 24-hour on-call coverage.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Daily rounding on 2-3 patients
  2. Using the Medhost EMR system
  3. Providing coverage for a level 2 nursery
  4. Performing 24-hour on-call duties

Additional responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat pediatric inpatients
  • Coordinate care with healthcare professionals
  • Communicate effectively with patients' families
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Ensure compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with staff
  • Manage admissions, transfers, and discharges
