A leading healthcare provider in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a full-time Board Certified / Eligible Pediatrician to join their Nocturnist team. This role involves providing care to underserved populations and participating in medical education at a teaching hospital. Seeking a full-time Board Certified / Eligible Pediatrician to join our Nocturnist team in Phoenix, AZ, providing care to the underserved population of Maricopa County.
The position offers employment through a multi-specialty group with over 400 providers, dedicated to patient care and teaching at the hospital. Our hospital is committed to top-tier pediatric care and features a Pediatric ED, NICU, PICU, and Pediatric Acute Care Unit.
Additionally, there is a robust FQHC Ambulatory Clinic with general and subspecialty pediatric services adjacent to the hospital, along with other ambulatory FQHCs providing primary pediatric care across the city.
The successful candidate will join a team of 8 Pediatric Hospitalists involved in medical education and patient care at a public, teaching hospital affiliated with Creighton University School of Medicine and the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
Our pediatric services include a 24-hour Pediatric Emergency Department, a 10-bed Pediatric inpatient unit, a 6-bed PICU, a busy newborn nursery, and a Level III NICU. Deliveries are managed by the NICU team. Pediatric specialty services are readily accessible.
The Pediatric Hospitalists cover the inpatient Pediatric Unit, Couplet Care, and Level II Nursery, with daily rounds alongside pediatric residents and medical students. Our pediatric residency program and hospital medicine fellowship, in partnership with Phoenix Children’s Hospital, accept 36 residents annually. We also teach family medicine residents.
Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
