Job description

Seeking BE/BC OBGYN Hospitalist to join talented team near Raleigh, NC.

  • Provide direct inpatient care to obstetric and gynecological patients, including labor and delivery management, postpartum care, and emergency obstetric care and gynecological emergencies.
  • Respond to OB emergencies, including but not limited to, managing high-risk pregnancies, obstetric hemorrhages, and complications of labor and delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with the maternity care team, including midwives, nurses and anesthesia anesthesiologists, and other specialists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct inpatient consultations in gynecology and participate in the management of complex gynecological cases.
  • Provide patient education on prenatal and postnatal care, family planning, and reproductive health.
  • Adhere to all institutional policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
  • Take part in quality assurance audits, including continuing education, and peer review.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to keep abreast of current developments in the industry. Provider run unit simulations (frequency to be determined)
