We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine physician to join our award-winning hospitalist team as a nocturnist in La Crosse, WI. This position offers a manageable workload with a primary focus on adult inpatient care during night shifts, with collaborative support from subspecialty services and opportunities for loan forgiveness. Seeking a BC/BE internal medicine physician interested in working as a nocturnist on its established hospitalist team. Join an award-winning, physician-led, integrated health system, employing over 1,000 clinicians.

Highlights:

• 182 shifts per year (primary schedule 7 on 7 off) consisting of purely nights (11:00 pm - 7:30 am)

  • Two nocturnists are assigned during these shifts, affording a manageable workload.

  • Primary responsibility is on-site adult (admit and cross cover) inpatient care.

  • Nocturnists also provide telemedicine (admits and cross cover) services to our critical access hospitals during these shifts.
