Physician / Hospitalist / New York / Locum or Permanent / Hospitalist - Finger Lakes Region of New York

Seeking Hospitalists in the Finger Lakes Region of New York for ongoing sporadic coverage. Candidates must have an active NY license. We accept new graduates who are board eligible. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric populations.

Shift details:

1. PPD varies based on the number of hospitalists; typically 15-16 at the beginning of the shift.
2. At least 3-4 non-teaching hospitalists are present during shifts from 7A - 7P.
3. ICU patients are included in the census at the start of the shift.
4. There is an admitter; calls for help are made if needed from 7A - 3P.
5. Locums are not used for admissions, night shifts, or mid-shifts.

Additional details:

• 23 ICU beds.
• EMR: Quadramed (inpatient).
• The facility can credential in 1-2 weeks.

Located in the beautiful NY Finger Lakes Region, the hospital is a 260-bed non-profit tertiary care center. We are currently interviewing BC/BE Internal Medicine physicians to join our established Hospital Medicine group. The hospital has an accredited Osteopathic GME program with residencies and fellowships, offering opportunities in academic teaching. Flexible scheduling allows providers to focus on clinical care, quality improvement, and professional/personal development.
