Qualifications

  • Médecin hospitalier certifié BE/BC.
  • Préférable l'expérience en soins hospitaliers.
  • Capacité à travailler en équipe avec autres médecins et personnels.

Responsibilities

  • Gérer une charge de patients avec un emploi du temps flexible (7 on 7 off).
  • Couverture par téléphone après les rondes si nécessaire.
  • Participer à des programmes d'enseignement de médecine.

Job description

Seeking a BE/BC Hospitalist to join an established Hospitalist service in west-central MO.

Details:
  • Join an established hospitalist service with physicians and nurse practitioners
  • Manageable patient load with an attractive 7 on 7 off schedule with flexibility
  • After rounds, hospitalist may cover service by phone unless needed on site
  • Employment by the hospital
  • Night coverage provided by nurse practitioners
  • Teaching available with the Rural Track Training program and Family Medicine Residency program through the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine
  • 100+bed hospital with state-of-the-art telemetry and in-patient unit, nine bed open ICU
  • ER answers the codes; procedure experience welcomed but not required
  • Enjoy a variety of patients with stellar subspecialty support including full service cardiology, critical care, oncology/hematology, pulmonology, neurology, nephrology and more
