Job description

Seeking a full-time hospitalist/nocturnist to work seven on and seven off. This position covers both day and night shifts with flexible rotation schedules.

Position Overview

As a Hospitalist Physician in our community hospital, you will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive medical care to our patients. Responsibilities include providing high-quality inpatient care, managing acute medical conditions, coordinating with specialists, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice medicine in a supportive and collaborative environment while significantly impacting the health and well-being of our local community.

Responsibilities
  • Cover patients primarily in the ICU and medical-surgical units.
  • Manage approximately 16 patient encounters during the day shift.
  • Work alongside an APP partner supporting the day shift.
  • Collaborate with six physician partners practicing locally to allow scheduling flexibility.
  • Provide care for patients with Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Hospitalist Residency training, with relevant experience.
  • Maintain excellent standards of care and professionalism.
