Job description

Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible OBGYN Hospitalist to join our team in NE Arkansas.

  1. Provide inpatient care for unassigned patients presenting to labor and delivery or the emergency department.
  2. Be available to private practice patients in emergency situations or upon request for delivery.
  3. Offer backup and consultative services to our Family Medicine Residency program's obstetrical service.
  4. Conduct inpatient GYN consultations as needed.
  5. Play a leadership role in ensuring safety and quality across the program.
  6. Participate in teaching and academic activities, contributing to the growth and development of future healthcare professionals.
  7. Work at a 450-bed community hospital with 17 Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) rooms.
  8. Provide care in a 19-bed Level 3A NICU.
  9. Manage approximately 1,900 deliveries per year.
  10. Work with a strong support team of Nurse Practitioners and Family Medicine Residents.
Work Schedule & Support:
  • 7-8 shifts per 28-day cycle, with 24-hour shifts.
  • Collaborative environment with dedicated support when residents are off-service.
  • Focus on patient care, safety, and clinical excellence.
