Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners is adding a nocturnist to our hospitalist service at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

+ With 407 beds, this regional referral center features a modern facility built in 2010 and a newly-renovated 16 operating room suite

+ The hospital is centrally located in the fastest growing county in the state of Tennessee on a beautiful 68-acre campus on the bustling “Medical Center Parkway” corridor with convenient access to dining and shopping areas

+ The hospital campus is currently undergoing a $110 expansion project, which includes the addition of 36 new high acuity beds, a parking garage dedicated to hospital employees and physicians, 18 new critical care unit beds, six additional NICU bassinets, 17 new post-surgery bays

+ The hospital is well known in the community for its women’s services and well-established heart surgery program

+ Saint Thomas Health and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) have an established partnership in Middle Tennessee for training medical residents in a variety of specialties including internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and general surgery

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

**Required Credential(s):**

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. KY License also required if working in a Kentucky facility.

**Education:**

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
