Job summary

CompHealth is assisting a Regional Medical Officer/Extensivist in El Paso, TX to lead post-acute care services. The role includes SNF rounds, facility oversight, and management of advanced practice clinicians, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm and no weekends or evening calls.

The ideal candidate is board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, licensed in Texas (IMLC is available for expedited licensure).

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Willingness to obtain Texas licensure via IMLC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SNF rounds and management with at least one facility.
• Oversee advanced practice clinicians including NPs and PAs.
• Regional Medical Officer and Extensivist leadership responsibilities.
• Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm schedule with no weekends and no evening call.
