Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a hospitalist physician for Brandon, FL, just outside Tampa, to support two nearby hospital locations with day shifts from 7 am to 7 pm. The role features a manageable patient census (18–22) and APP support, with a closed ICU and 24/7 Intensivist coverage.

Epic EMR is used for care coordination. Active Florida medical license is required; board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice is expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida medical license.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• Experience in hospital medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Day shifts 7 am–7 pm at two hospital locations ~8 miles apart.
• Manage census of 18–22 patients with APP support.
• No procedures required in the closed ICU setting.
