Job description

We are seeking a BE/BC Hematologist-Oncologist to join a team of Radiation Oncologists, additional Hematologist/Oncologists, and Gynecologic Oncologists at a Cancer Center in Rapid City, SD.

Work Schedule and Call Responsibilities

1. The work schedule is a 4-day work week (Monday-Friday) if not on call. The call week involves a 5-day clinic schedule.
2. Call is typically 1 in 5-6 weeks with low volumes. When a 6th oncologist joins, call frequency adjusts to 1 in 6-7 weeks.
3. First appointments are at 7:30am or 8:00am, with the last appointment around 4:00pm or 4:30pm.
4. Patient census averages 14-18 patients per day.

The center provides inpatient and outpatient oncology services, supportive laboratory and imaging, and clinical research trials.
