Job summary

The Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix is actively recruiting an Inpatient Hematologist/Oncologist to join our hospitalist team. The role focuses on inpatient care, rounding with the team, responding to consults, and providing expert cancer medicine at a leading academic cancer center.

The position offers a 7 on / 7 off schedule with fully staffed APP support, opportunities for university appointment, and access to clinical trials and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology, Medical Oncology, or Hematology
• Interest in inpatient service with subspecialization
• Clinical research interest is preferred
• Open to experienced and new graduates

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounds and consultations as part of the hospitalist team
• Collaborate with APPs for inpatient care and management
• Respond to consults during business hours; nights for calls, with next-day follow-up
• No outpatient duties required

TheDivision of Cancer Medicine is actively recruiting a Hematologist/Oncologist to join our inpatient team as an Onco-Hospitalist at the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix. This candidate will join a national leader in multidisciplinary cancer care, education, and discovery at a thriving academic based campus.

As part of the cancer centers multidisciplinary team, the selected oncologist will enjoy a 7 on / 7 off schedule and a team that includes fully staffed APP support. Physician will be present at the hospital during business hours, rounding with patients and responding to consults as required. Physician would be available nights for calls coming in from the hospital/team but consult requests coming in overnight are addressed early the next day. Outpatient responsibilities are not required.
