Job description

Seeking a BE/BC Hematology Oncologist to join two other Hem Oncs in a thriving practice. You will discover a quality lifestyle in a breathtaking location. Hospital is expanding and renovating its Multi-Disciplinary Cancer Center, which currently includes 2 Medical Oncologists and 1 Radiation Oncologist. Construction will feature a new infusion center expanded to 21 chairs, with its own pharmacist. It is approved for the 340B drug discount program. The preferred candidate will have an interest in palliative medicine and be willing to see a significant volume of Hematology cases. Here are more details:

  1. Approximately 450 new cancer cases per year
  2. Strong oncology program with 5% growth annually over the last 10 years
  3. Robust primary care base
  4. Availability of cardiothoracic surgeon and neurosurgeon
  5. Call schedule of 1:3
  6. Support staff includes: 1 nurse, front desk staff, 1 NP, 6 infusion-certified RNs

State-of-the-art equipment includes:

  • Veran Peripheral Lung Navigation System for bronchoscopy and needle localization
  • Olympus Endobronchial Ultrasound System
  • Olympus 4mm and Pentax 5mm Bronchoscopes
  • Varian Linear Accelerator with 3D, IMRT, and SBRT capabilities
  • GE Large Bore 4D CT for motion management of lung tumors
