Job summary

Essentia Health is recruiting a Hematologist/Medical Oncologist for Brainerd, MN, joining a comprehensive hematology/oncology team with access to genetic counseling, nutrition support, social work, nurse navigation, and research nurses. The role includes on-site infusion services and collaboration with affiliated centers for multidisciplinary care.

Clinician will provide consultative care with hospitalists handling admissions, overseeing a caseload of 12–15 follow-ups and 1–2 new patients daily,

Practice Specifics

• Outreach Opportunities: Potential for outreach after establishing your practice.
• Special Programs: Nurse Practitioner-run High Risk Breast Program & Survivorship Clinic, Low Dose CT Lung Cancer Screening program.
• Infusion Center: 24-chair on-site Ambulatory Infusion Center with an average volume of 40 patient visits per day, administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, supportive medications, and more.
• Research Opportunities: Access to current, relevant clinical trials through the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP).
• Professional Affiliation: Strong ties with a tertiary referral center.

Salary & Compensation

COMPENSATION $700,000. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.

Compensation Range: $1.00 - $1,000,000.00
