As a Physician, you'll work as part of an integrated health team to provide and ensure continuity of care, developing and implementing patient care management plans.

We are looking for:

• An MD / DO degree from an accredited Medical School
• Board certification or eligibility in primary specialty
• Current, active license to practice in Texas
• Current, unrestricted DEA license

What is the work?

Patient Care:

• Evaluate patients, obtain/study medical histories, document records
• Interview patients, assess health, and examine as needed
• Evaluate and suggest improvements for current care methods
• Educate and counsel patients, explain treatment plans, promote wellness
• Order tests, refer to specialists, prescribe medications in compliance with laws
• Discuss side effects, ensure allergy info is up-to-date
• Comply with legal, professional, and infection control protocols
• Maintain knowledge, review journals, participate in associations
• Collaborate with staff to improve practices and guidelines
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations

Background Requirements:

• MD / DO degree, board certification or eligibility
• Active license and DEA in Texas
• BLS certification
