VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Obstetrics.

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Start Date: July 8, 2025

End Date: January 6, 2026

Duration: 26 Weeks

Shift: 12 Hours Day shift

Description:

Specialty: OBGYN

Seeking LOCAL / DRIVE-IN CANDIDATES with availability for up to 8 shifts per month. Locums may be required to float between Abbott Northwestern Hospital, United Hospital, Buffalo Clinic, and St. Francis Regional Medical Center.

Shifts at Abbott Northwestern Hospital can be 24 hrs if needed, but 12 hrs are also possible. United Hospital usually has 12 hrs shifts, with 24 hrs as an option. Buffalo and St. Francis may have 24 hrs shifts back-to-back, sometimes up to 72 hrs, depending on coverage needs.

Shift Details & Schedule:

Shifts are sporadic and scheduled monthly, split between up to 4 locations, primarily at St. Francis and United Hospital.

Work Details:

Clinic hours; skilled in performing C-sections, D&C, laparoscopic tubal ligations, ectopic pregnancies, etc.; EMR: EPIC; hospital setting with high to medium acuity cases.

High-volume hospital (United): 2789 deliveries across all Allina programs in 2024. Low-volume hospital (St. Francis): 1-2 deliveries/day, off-site call coverage only.

Requirements:

• Board Certification: BC/BE
• Clean record, no malpractice issues
• License: Minnesota
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days

Notes:

Pay Rate: $4742.40 per week (1099)

Additional certification requirements should be confirmed with VHS upon application.
