Northwestern Medicine Gynecologist Physician Opportunity

Northwestern Medicine is opening a new 120,000-square-foot advanced outpatient care center in the Bronzeville neighborhood, scheduled to open in September 2025. This facility aims to serve and improve the health of local residents and surrounding communities by providing culturally competent primary and specialty care services.

We are actively recruiting a full-time Gynecologist physician to join our innovative practice. This office-based role focuses solely on gynecology and in-office procedures, offering a great work/life balance.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to community-focused clinical excellence and patient experience, reflecting the diversity of the community. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and excellent benefits.

Desired Start Date: September 1, 2025

Responsibilities:
  1. Treat patients at NMG Bronzeville Outpatient Care Center and other healthcare facilities as determined by leadership.
  2. Maintain a clinical schedule that ensures timely and comprehensive medical services.
  3. Teach medical residents, fellows, students, nurses, and other healthcare providers as required.
  4. Refer patients needing specialized care to affiliated specialists, respecting patient preferences and best medical practices.
  5. Participate regularly in practice meetings and quality assurance activities.
  6. Ensure compliance with billing, documentation, and related policies.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
