Physician / Geriatrics / New York / Locum or Permanent / Geriatric Psychiatrist openings in Manhattan & NJ - private practice, no income cap!

A private practice specializing in Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry is seeking a Geriatric Psychiatrist to join their team in Manhattan and Rockland County, NY. The practice provides a supportive environment with flexible scheduling and a focus on a holistic approach to mental health, offering services including individual therapy, group therapy, and various evaluation services. This position offers competitive compensation with no income cap and the possibility for practice partnership.

Responsibilities:

• Current need is to cover 3 geriatric locations in Manhattan and 2 in Rockland County, NY. You will also be given referrals for our Manhattan office.
• You will be provided patients for you to see in a number of different settings, including private practice in our offices, private upscale outpatient facilities in Bergen County, NJ and Manhattan, and private practice at local hospitals.
• Offer private individual therapy sessions, family therapy, group therapy, and supportive therapy.
• Treat anxiety and depression, provide psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, motivation sessions, life coaching, support groups, stress relief, cognitive behavioral therapy, and treatment for insomnia and PMS.
• Provide grief support, healthy weight support, and smoking-alcohol-substance cessation support.
• Conduct memory and dementia evaluations, competency evaluations, and provide private care of patients at Assisted Living, Independent Living facilities, and Nursing Homes.

Compensation & Benefits:

This opportunity is a highly paid position without a salary cap and practice partnership possibilities are available. It provides autonomy and flexibility within the framework of a collaborative and supportive team. Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with flexible scheduling, supported by our office staff. We do not participate with or depend on Managed Care.

Our doctors are either W-2 Employees or Partners. This position is based on productivity rather than a salary. We will share with the Physician a percentage of the fees collected for services provided, creating no cap on compensation. We will pay fifty percent (50%) of fees collected for services performed and billed by us as compensation.
