The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) has prioritized geriatric behavioral health as a key organizational mission area. Our Department of BehavioralMedicine and Psychiatry is seeking an additional GeriatricPsychiatrist to practice in Morgantown, WV.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree orinternational equivalent and be eligible for state medicallicensure. Successful candidate must have completed a psychiatryresidency program and geriatric psychiatry fellowship. Successfulcandidates must be board certified in psychiatry and geriatricpsychiatry. All qualifications must be met by the time ofappointment.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area ofgeriatric psychiatry. In addition to providing excellent patientcare, the successful candidate will participate in teaching medicalstudents, residents, and fellows.

The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute guides a team of 280 dedicated faculty in providing compassionate patient care and advanced medicine through education, research, and outreach in themany diverse communities we serve. The Institute spearheads efforts to develop innovative solutions for neurological and psychiatricconditions ranging from Alzheimer’s to Parkinson’s; autism tostroke; and paralysis to chronic pain, addictions, and traumaticbrain injury.

The WVU RNI Memory Health Clinic is the only multi-disciplinary specialty clinic in the state of West Virginia that offers comprehensive, individualized diagnosis and treatment for dementia, while providing support for caregivers.
