A leading healthcare provider in Morristown is seeking a qualified medical professional to oversee and provide leadership to their medical practice. The role involves diagnosing and treating various disorders, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Candidates must possess a Doctorate and have experience managing a medical practice. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Reports To: President/Vice President
Summary of Duties:
Position responsible for overseeing and providing leadership to medical practice.
Essential Functions:
1. Diagnose and treat disease and disorders of the urinary tract and reproductive organs.
2. Depending on specialty, may treat disorders including prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular cancer, male infertility, kidney stones, and incontinence, as well as neurological disorders that affect the urinary or reproductive system of patients, such as Parkinson’s disease or multiple sclerosis.
3. Provide care to inpatient, outpatient and surgical patients.
4. Examines patient using x-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscope, and other equipment to aid in determining nature and extent of disorder or injury.
5. Treats patients and performs office procedures including prostate biopsies (ultrasound guided), video cystoscopy, flow rate, urodynamics, stent removals, bladder scans, laparoscopic, Robotics, stone treatment
6. Works closely with nephrologists, oncologists, and endocrinologists as needed.
7. Participates in sub-specialty as required including pediatrics, infertility, erectile dysfunction, impotence etc
8. Performs surgery as needed.
9. Prescribes medications as needed and administers urinary antiseptics to combat infection.
10. Mentors the staff, including but not limited to Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, LPNs, Medical Assistants.
11. Collaborates with all levels of management.
12. Participates in Executive Committee meetings, Journal Club, and other required meetings.
13. Supports all human resources initiatives, and provides an optimal learning environment for all staff.
14. Promotes safety and privacy in the workplace including following guidelines of HIPAA, Hi-tech, and OSHA compliance.
Skills/Experience:
1. Past experience managing a medical practice.
2. Ability to lead and mentor employees.

1. Doctorate
Environmental/Working Conditions:
1. Work is performed in an office environment.
2. Work may be stressful at times due to busy offices.
3. Occasional travel between offices is required.
4. Interaction with others is constant and interruptive.
Physical Demands:
1. Work may require hand dexterity for clinical functions.
2. There may also be occasional lifting of up to 30lbs.
