Lincoln Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital and proud member of MaineHealth, is seeking a part-time general surgeon to join our experienced and collaborative team.

The successful candidate will join an established practice of 2 surgeons and 2 Advanced Practice Providers, located in beautiful Damariscotta, Maine. The general surgeons at Lincoln Hospital provide comprehensive surgical care including minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures. Candidates should be proficient in performing upper and lower GI endoscopy.

This position includes participation in a 1:3 call rotation. While currently part-time, there is potential for the role to expand into a full-time opportunity in the future.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialty, or equivalent.
• Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery.
• Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.
