Job summary

Vandalia Health in Morgantown, WV seeks a General Surgeon to provide comprehensive clinical and surgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The physician will follow evidence-based practices, coordinate treatment plans with the clinical team, and assure an appropriate continuum of care at Mon Health Medical Park.

Experience in group practice or hospital settings is preferred. Active WV medical license and DEA certificate are required for credentialing; position is on-site with a 1.0

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Medical School.
• Board certification or board eligibility in General Surgery.
• Active and unrestricted West Virginia License; current Federal and WV Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate.

• The physician provides comprehensive clinical care in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
• Follows and directs evidence-based practices within the Surgical Care service line; collaborates with the clinical team to ensure continuum of care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of an Accredited Medical School.
• Board certified / Board eligible in General Surgery.

Experience/Physical Requirements

Experience in group practice and/or hospital setting preferred.

Licensure/Certification

• Active and unrestricted West Virginia License.
• Current Federal and WV Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate.
• Fully credentialed according to medical staff by-laws of the organization.
