Job summary

CompHealth is assisting a hospital-employed general surgery position in the Washington DC Metro area in Virginia, offering 1:4 call and a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases with a daVinci Xi robot on-site.

Open to new graduates and experienced surgeons; board-certified or board-eligible MD/DO. Work across two hospitals with APP support; competitive compensation, benefits, retirement, and malpractice coverage. We help negotiate salary and licenses.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in general surgery.
• Willingness to cover a 1:4 call schedule.
• Ability to work across two hospital locations in VA/DC area.

Responsibilities

• Perform bread-and-butter general surgery with scopes (inpatient and outpatient).
• Utilize daVinci Xi robot on-site when appropriate.
• Split time between two hospitals in the Washington DC Metro area of Virginia.
• Collaborate with APPs and multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate care.
