Job summary

CompHealth is assisting a private surgical group located east of downtown Los Angeles, CA, in recruiting an HPB surgeon or surgical oncologist with HPB background. Robotic surgery is available at a dedicated Robotic Center of Excellence.

Fellowship training is preferred; experienced general surgeons with HPB experience are welcome. The role spans three acute care hospitals with academic affiliation, offering a balanced call schedule.

Qualifications

• HPB or Surgical Oncology fellowship training preferred; experienced general surgeons considered.
• Robotic surgery available at a designated Robotic Center of Excellence.
• DEA required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide HPB and surgical oncology services across three acute care hospitals.
• Collaborate with a 4-surgeon team; no current HPB or surgical oncology specialist on staff.
• Participate in a private surgical group with academic affiliation and coordinated interview support.

• Practice includes 4 surgeons with no current HPB or surgical oncology specialist on team
• Open to HPB surgeon, surgical oncologist, or experienced general surgeon with HPB background
• HPB or Surgical Oncology fellowship training preferred; experienced general surgeons considered
• Robotic surgery available at a designated Robotic Center of Excellence
• Coverage across three acute care hospitals with academic affiliation
• Approximately 5 - 6 call shifts per month with schedule based on coverage needs
• No visa sponsorship available; DEA required

Salary from $425000.00 to $425001.00 annually
