Barton Associates is seeking a General Surgeon for an 8-day assignment in Florida starting October 29, 2026. You will perform typical general surgery procedures during twelve-hour daytime shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM on specified dates, with no call and a focus on inpatient care.

Requirements include Board Certification in Surgery, ACLS and BLS. EMR is Cerner; setting is inpatient with on-site teams. Travel-related expenses are covered and malpractice insurance is provided.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform typical general surgery procedures.
• Cover assigned 12-hour daytime shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.
• Manage an average of 3-5 patients per day.
• Collaborate with an experienced nursing staff and other surgical specialties.
