Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic in Austin, TX is seeking a General Surgeon for a full-time, outpatient clinic role. The selected surgeon will diagnose and treat a broad range of surgical cases, including endoscopy, colonoscopy, minimally invasive and robotic procedures, and will have opportunities to build a practice within ARC's collaborative Surgery department.

Candidates must hold Texas medical licensure (or be in process) and be Board Eligible or Board Certified.

Qualifications

• Board certification status in General Surgery (Board Eligible or Board Certified).
• Texas license to practice medicine or pending Texas license.
• Ability to work in person and commute within Greater Austin Area.
• Excellent clinical skills and independence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of general surgery cases in an outpatient setting.
• Perform endoscopy, colonoscopy, minimally invasive and robotic procedures.
• Grow a solo practice while collaborating with established Surgery partners.
• Join a physician-owned, multi-specialty group with supportive administration and teaching opportunities.

General Surgery Essential Responsibilities:

We have an exciting full-time General Surgeon position available in Austin offering tremendous growth potential. This position will work within the Surgery department and will treat General Surgery patients in a very busy and well established outpatient clinic. The new General Surgeon will diagnose and treat an array of patients treating broad spectrum surgery needs including endoscopy, colonoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, breast surgery and perform various robotic surgery techniques. The new General Surgeon must have a desire to grow a practice and work independently while assisting well established Surgery partners. Must be holding a Texas licensure and is Board Certified/Board Eligible.
