Physician / Gastroenterology / West Virginia / Permanent / Gastroenterology Opportunity in Northern WV

Employed practice seeks BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join their team of 5 physicians and 3 APPs. Group is adding another APP.

  1. Base salary: $500,000 - $600,000, commensurate with experience, plus productivity bonus.
  2. Procedures: Three physicians in practice do ERCP; one performs advanced procedures. Both general and advanced Gastroenterologists are encouraged to apply. Able to start with about 25% advanced cases, up to approximately 35-40%.
  3. Clinic: 6,000 sq ft recently renovated, contains 13 exam rooms, attached to the hospital.
  4. Procedures: Block scheduled two days per week, averaging 15 procedures per day.
  5. Patient census: Average clinic day - 24 patients; inpatient census - 20-30, including new consults.
  6. Support: APP support during inpatient week; outpatient call rotated weekly among physicians; inpatient call also rotated.
  7. EMR: EPIC used in both clinic and hospital.
  8. Additional info: Hospital has a Family Medicine residency program; participation in grand rounds and lectures is available.

  10. Location: Just under 2 hours from Pittsburgh, accessible to many Mid-Atlantic and Midwestern cities.
