Job description

Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist

We are looking for a physician to join our team in an inpatient-only, 7 on, 7 off employed position. The role involves working every other week from Monday to Monday, focusing on inpatient cases and procedures.

This position complements our well-established General and Advanced Gastroenterology program, serving as the principal provider for advanced and general GI services for 1 million patients across the Midlands to the Coast of North and South Carolina. Our hospital boasts a large, expansive Endoscopy lab with numerous general and advanced procedure rooms, supported by dedicated Anesthesiologists and CRNA providers. Additionally, there is dedicated GI space within the OR.

The role entails providing 7 days of inpatient services, with 10 hours on-site daily and 14 hours of unrestricted call coverage each day. Working every other week, this position offers an excellent opportunity to focus solely on inpatient care, hospital patients, and ER consults. Compensation includes paid malpractice, CME allowance, sign-on incentives, competitive salary, and other health and retirement benefits.
